Craft Vendor

3/1/2025 UPDATE: Applications are reviewed by a committee. Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email starting late March 2025.
You will be contacted when accepted and payment will be expected at that time.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY AUGUST 1, 2025 AT 6:00 PM EASTERN TIME ZONE.

PLEASE READ COMPLETE RULES for 2025 FOR ARTS AND CRAFT VENDORS:

  • Arts and Craft Vendors will be on display on the flat area on the hill beside the Food Truck Contest Area in the Renfro Valley RV Camping area.
  • Vendors can set up a space no longer than 10-foot by 10-foot in size.
  • You will need to bring your own table, chairs, and pop-up tent.
  • There are no electrical outlets for vendors.
  • Items must be handcrafted items.  We will limit to 3 of the same type of vendor and review applications in the order received.
  • We will not accepted items from marketing sales such as Mary Kay, Avon, Tupperware, Plunder, or mass sales type items.
  • NO food, candy, treats, or drinks will be allowed for sale in craft vendor area.  If you want to sell food – sign up to be a Food Truck Vendor.
  • If you want to be placed beside another particular vendor, please list their name with question on the application.  Placement of booths is up to the discretion of the Mt. Vernon-Rockcastle County Tourist Commission Board of Directors and Staff Members. It is recommended to have someone with you at your booth in case you need to leave it.
  • Applications will be reviewed as they are received
  • The Mt. Vernon-Rockcastle County Tourist Commission Board of Directors has the right to refuse any application.

Application deadline is August 1, 2025 at 6:00 PM est. Application must be submitted online.

You will receive an email when Accepted to become a vendor. Please note that approvals can take several weeks due to volume received.

With the approval email, you will receive an invoice for the non-refundable $50 Vendor Fee.  Vendor fee must be paid by August 1, 2025.  Payment can be made via credit card or debit card.  Your booth space is not received until the fee is paid.

Week of the Event: Approved Craft Vendors will receive an Email with set up information, including Spot Number.  Event staff will have spaces assigned prior to your arrival on the day of set-up. Vendors may begin setting up on the day of the event no earlier than 8:00 AM. Event starts at 11:00 AM and concludes at 6:00 PM. Please note that you must collect Kentucky Sales Tax as a list of vendors will be reported to Kentucky Department of Revenue.
